Forgetting to follow suit — even accidentally — is called a reneg and can result in a penalty. Before you play a card, always take a quick look through your hand to make sure you're following suit correctly. ♥️ 2. Forgetting the Left Bower Is Trump This is the most common beginner mistake in Euchre. The Jack of the same color as trump becomes the Left Bower and counts as trump.
