FAQ
Do I need to RSVP or bring a partner?
No. Just show up — no RSVP or partner needed. Solo players are always welcome.
What does it cost?
Regular weekly meetups are free. Any fees for special events will be noted in the event announcement.
When do games happen?
Games take place throughout the week at various locations across the Charleston area. Check the Events page for current meetup times and locations.
How many people usually attend?
Attendance varies by location and week. Established meetups often have regular players who simply show up, while newer meetups may use the Facebook group to help coordinate attendance.
What if I've never played before?
New players are welcome. We recommend reviewing the basics beforehand, but most players pick up the game quickly and members are usually happy to help.
What's the vibe?
Casual, social, and welcoming. Games range from relaxed to competitive depending on the group.
How long does a meetup last?
Most meetups run about two hours, but you're welcome to arrive late, leave early, or stay for the entire session.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely. Friends, family members, and first-time players are always welcome.
What if no one is there when I arrive?
Grab a table and wait a few minutes, or post in the Facebook group. Many players simply show up and don't always announce they're coming ahead of time.
Do I need to bring cards or supplies?
Usually not. Most established meetups already have what they need, but members are always welcome to bring a deck of cards, scorecards, or other supplies.
Can I organize my own meetup or game?
Yes. Charleston Euchre Club is community-driven. Members are encouraged to start tables, organize meetups, and post in the Facebook group to invite others.
Can I organize a tournament?
Yes. Members are welcome to organize and run their own tournaments, special events, and game nights. Post the details in the Facebook group and invite others to participate.
Where do I find updates or see who's playing?
The Facebook group is the best place to connect with players, see meetup activity, post when you're heading out, and learn about new games and events.
